Eng. Jimmy Ijumba is a seasoned mining professional and Registered Engineer with over 30 years of experience across underground, surface, and exploration operations.

He has strong expertise in operational leadership, mining project management, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, with a track record of driving performance and safety across mining operations.

Throughout his career, Eng. Ijumba has held senior roles at leading organizations including Orica Tanzania, Volt Tanzania, Barrick Tanzania, Lafarge Tanzania, and Kiwira Coal Mine, where he contributed to operational excellence and strategic growth.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership and Governance. He is also a Certified Director from the Institute of Directors Tanzania.

Eng. Ijumba brings to the Board extensive operational experience, leadership in ESG practices, and strong governance capabilities.
