Mr. Said Musendo Chiguma is an experienced economist and legal professional with over 30 years of service in public finance, economic policy, and regulatory advisory.

He has deep expertise in fiscal and monetary policy, public debt management, economic research, and risk management, with a strong track record in policy development and strategic decision making.

Mr. Chiguma spent over three decades at the Bank of Tanzania, contributing to economic policy and financial system oversight. He later served as Managing Partner at CHIMBA Attorneys, providing legal advisory and litigation services in civil and commercial matters.

He has extensive governance experience, having served as Chairperson of the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA), where he oversaw significant institutional growth, including expansion of campuses, academic programs, and student enrolment. He also served as Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee at TEMDO, achieving consistent clean audit outcomes.

Mr. Chiguma brings to the Board a unique blend of economic, legal, and governance expertise, supporting sound financial oversight and strategic policy direction.
