CPA(T). Leonard Chacha Kitoka is a finance and governance expert with over 30 years of experience in audit, advisory, and public financial management across East Africa.

He specializes in corporate governance, risk oversight, and institutional transformation, with a strong record of strengthening financial systems and accountability in both public and private sectors.

CPA(T). Kitoka is the Founder and Managing Director of INNOVEX, a pan African professional services firm. He has previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers & Lybrand, UNDP Rwanda, and the University of Dar es Salaam. He has played a key role in advancing corporate governance in Tanzania, including contributing to the establishment of the Institute of Directors Tanzania.

He currently serves as Chairman of TOL Gases PLC and holds board positions in several institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, and Bugando Medical Centre. He has chaired and served on numerous audit and risk committees.

He holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA PP). He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Senior Leadership Programme.
